New documents released shed more light on a murder-suicide in southwest Oklahoma City.

Police say Jonathon Candy shot and killed his wife and three of his four sons before shooting himself.

A search warrant revealed that the sixth member of the family, the only one to survive, was a 10-year-old boy. The warrant states that he woke up that morning to find every member of his family dead.

The 10-year-old called the police and told them that his dead father had a gun lying on top of him.

Investigators say they found five guns in the house near Southwest 29th Street and Czech Hall Road.

Documents show a shotgun had one fired a cartridge while five bullets had been fired from a revolver.

They also found 10 other spent casings along with live ammunition.

Detectives also took five cell phones plus footage from surveillance cameras but police say they may never know why Candy killed his wife and kids

Police also aren't sure why the 10-year-old survived, all he remembers is hearing the fire alarm going off that night.
